Pay Raise: Increased STSS Modified Pay Structure June 18 at Rocket Raceway Park

PETTY, TX – The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Ollie’s ‘Cajun Region’ is getting a pay raise at Rocket Raceway Park on Saturday, June 18.

Mayne Construction of Grand Saline, Texas has added a $3,000 total purse boost which will be distributed throughout the field.

The June 18 winner will now receive a $1,500 payday, boosted from its original $1,000 winner’s share. The complete updated purse structure is as follows: 1 – $1,500; 2 – $950; 3 – $600; 4 – $525; 5 – $450; 6 – $400; 7 – $375; 8-20 – $325.

The June 18 event serves as the first ever appearance by the Ollie’s Cajun Region at Rocket Raceway Park, and the only race in the month of June.

Robeline, La.’s Caleb Dillard maintains a 25-point advantage over fellow Bayou State driver Tommy Rascoe. The pair have won each of the last two ‘Cajun Region’ events.

Cajun Region rookie Koty Adams of Doyline, La., sits third in the standings, 69 marks behind Dillard. Benton, La.’s Keith Badiali and McLeod, Texas Thomas Holt round out the top five in Cajun Region standings.
