Short Track Super Series Cajun Fires Back Up at Chatham Speedway Saturday

CHATHAM, LA – We’re back!

The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco ‘Cajun Region’ springs back into action on Saturday (May 29) at Chatham Speedway.

Following a rain cancelation earlier this month at 171 Speedway, the series has awaited the third round of the Day Motor Sports point series.

Jerry Hobson’s Chatham oval will host the STSS Cajun Region Modifieds for the second time this season. Cody Robbins of Mansfield, La., won the opener at Chatham on April 3. Tommy Rascoe of Converse, La., made it two winners in as many events when he took the checkered first at Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, La., on April 24.

Rascoe leads the point standings by 10 points (195-185) over Caleb Dillard entering Chatham. Complete standings are posted on the series website at the following link:

For May 29, Chatham pit gates officially open at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.

Adult grandstand admission is $15. Kids 10 and under are free. Tower seats are available for an additional $10 per person.

Pit passes cost $35 with Kids 5 and under FREE.

Transponders are available to rent at $10 each.
